During my MPO run this morning, the Lord reminded me as He often does, that we do not accidentally move past anyone in this life. The timing of every encounter, no matter how fleeting, is under His sovreign control. When we surrender to Him, He blesses us with the priveledge to view our journey and every passing person as a gift sent to give us an opportunity to show the love of Christ and a divine opportunity to be His hands and feet. Everywhere we go, every obstacle along the way that changes our timing or our plan, is orchestrated by our Father's unfailing love for our good, the good of those He sends us to serve, and His glory.
Interestingly, when I got home and was getting ready for work, I turned the radio on to KCBI...by "Divine Coincidence" I just happened to hear a message on God's sovreignty. I think it was more like "Divine Confirmation".
Psalm 1 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,and who meditates on his law day and night.3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
